Old Drawings

I went as Frankenstein's Monster the Halloween of that year (2008) and got interested in his image.

The date reads "23.6.09", woah, I've been preparing this painting for a very long time.

Getting round to things which should have been done a while back.

My laptop is finally working again and today I spent the afternoon editing together all the different bits of "there is a snake in my head". I finally came up with some lyrics for the middle bit to replace some which I didn't like that much.

It makes you out to be so brilliant, it makes you out to be so damn good.

But now it's
making you out to be a conquistador
making you out to be a heart-breaker
making you out to be a player
making you out to be a liar

This is a painting I started ages ago, (a quick look at my hidden folder on facebook reveals that I started it in September 2010) and due to my old painting habits (painting in the garden with the canvas rested on a bench, which dictated that I only painted in the warmer months (this is my second painting I did at home)) and me being in Norwich over Summer 2011, had left the painting neglected. Neglection no more, as I received an easel for Christmas.
